...this summer and I'd LOVE YOU to come to some stuff and say hello and CHAT SHIT please x
In deliberately and confusingly non-chronological order:
I'm part of the Open School East Associate Artist 2022/23 June exhibition in Margate and will be doing a durational performance as part of the private view on June 22nd from 6-9pm.
Before then you can come make Queer Mats with me at the Addiction Recovery Arts Futures conference at Liverpool Hope University on June 16th.
I'll also be doing Queer Mats at the University of West London postgraduate conference on 14th July, and again in the TaPRA Connections Gallery in Leeds from 30th August until 1st September.
Lastly, also in the middle of June, 'Days of Future Past' and 'SHAMES: looking never hurt' will be part of Squish Rotterdam's festival on queer and alternative families.
this Saturday (20th May) I'm not presenting the 'Can you teach an old gay new tricks?' paper below (as it's a video paper and it's already made and you can watch it anyway) but I will be on a panel talking about it at in the afternoon at the Practice Research in 21st Century Music conference at London College of Music, University of West London.
plus LOADS AND LOADS AND LOADS MORE is coming up ... 1. on the old Joanna played by a proper player in Cardiff and on a proper classical CD, get me / 2. exploring what it's like to be 'The Product Of' with another queer who is one too / 3. trying out weird stuff and making a disko album with a bunch of other an 80s throwbacks / 4. remotely reforming and finally making 90s electro pop from / 5. probably other stuffs I've completely mislaid.
I'll be sure to tell you about that, sign up to the website or follow the socials. Instagram Twitter (even though I can't bear Twitter) Facebook
